Brett Jarvis, CMP, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from the University of Colorado. During his thirteen year hotel career, Brett worked for Doubletree Hotels, Meridien Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. His most recent position was Director of Sales for the Four Seasons Newport Beach. During his tenure with Four Seasons, Brett achieved President’s Club ranking five consecutive years. President’s Club recognizes sales professionals in the company who consistently surpass their goals.

Brett has served six years on the Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International Orange County Chapter. His last position was President of the organization in 1999-2000. Brett currently serves on the Advisory Council for the California State Fullerton Certificate Program for Professional Meeting Planning.

Kathy Knox, CMP graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Retail Marketing. She began her hotel career in 1981 and her extensive background includes Conference Services Manager, Director of Conference Services, National Sales Manager, Director of Sales and Market Development and Regional Director of Sales positions. In 1993 Kathy co-founded a site research company, Meeting Sites Resource.

Active in Meeting Professionals International since 1988, Kathy was named a “Rising Star” by The Meeting Professional magazine in 1992. In June of 1998 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Orange County Chapter. Kathy has served in several positions in the Orange County Chapter of Meeting Professionals International including Vice President of Education, President Elect and 1993 – 1994 as President.

Faye Schultz graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. After taking additional courses in hotel and Tourism from the University of Innsbruck in Austria, she began her hotel career in 1983 with Wyndham Hotels. In 1985 Faye relocated to California to begin her career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Her extensive hotel background spans front office, food and beverage management, conference services and group sales. In 1994 she joined Meeting Sites Resource as a Strategic Site Specialist.

Brenda Baker graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During her thirteen year hotel career, Brenda worked in New York and Connecticut for Renaissance and Westin hotels. After relocating back to Florida in 1993, she worked as Director of Corporate Sales for the Renaissance Vinoy Resort. Her hotel background includes, rooms management and corporate group sales. Her career also includes ten years in pharmaceutical sales and marketing. Her background, along with her extensive travel throughout the US and Europe has gained her insight for quality service and attention to detail.
